Butterfly & White Lantana
おはようございます！今朝の写真は近所で見かけた小さな蝶です^^ 今日も素敵な一日になりますように♪
Good morning (or afternoon/evening)! This morning’s pic is a little butterfly I found in our neighborhood. It was atop some white lantana (or is it verbana?).

I use a wide aperture (f/1.8 to 2.2), an exposure compensation of +1 or even more, and also lessen the saturation, to get that "faded" look. There is a texture overlay on the photo. +ナナ ショウジ 素敵なコメント、ありがとうございます！返事が遅くなってごめんなさい m(_ _)m 蝶はあちこち飛んで可愛らしかった^^ コメントした方から名前を教えて頂いたが、「イチモンジセセリ」だそうです。調べたら、特徴として後翅裏の銀紋が一文字状に並んでいるためこの名前があるようです^^

Yeah, for vintage floral pics high key shots seem to work best 🙂
Ah, I forgot to mention: Rita only makes stuff for Photoshop/PS Elements on Windows or Mac. I take it you use Gimp on Linux? She does offer plain PNG files that could be opened in any graphics program (but no texture overlays or ageing effect)…
